Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering – Power Systems Engineering – 2002
in Omdurman Islamic University -Khartoum - Sudan
Second Class Division II
Work Experience:
Ø ‘Formerly’ National Electricity Corporation (NEC) – Sudan. ‘Present’ Sudanese Electricity Transmission Company (SETCO) – (October 2004 up to now)
Ø Posts Assumed:
2004 – 2011 transmission substation engineer
Ø Responsibilities:
o Coordinate and supervise all maintenance activities and troubleshooting for power transformers from 17.5 MVA up to 150 MVA.
o Coordinate and supervise all maintenance activities and troubleshooting for (SF6, Vacuums) Switchgears including protection instruments such as (over current, earth fault, differential and distance) relay.
o Work in all type of substations such as AIS and GIS substation.
o Prepare maintenance schedule for all equipment.
o Work as substation attendant.
o Responsible for the switching operations and maintenance as well as breakdown works
o Supervise substation maintenance crew and Contractors personnel to ensure compliance of Safety Regulations.
o Working in new projects committees. Reviewing of Substation design and technical specifications and do the erection.
o =Participating in and Leading commissioning teams for transmission substations.
