Job Description
•Develops project plans, schedules and budgets by integrating functional activity plans supporting new product launches.
•Establishes program schedules and defines plant functional resource requirements based on satisfying customer launch schedules.
•Establishes the program budget and manages plant expenditures, customer funding and capital expenditures.
•Approves project work authorization for activities to be performed by the team.
•Provides regular reports in both structured and non-structured formats on project status and issues.
•Responsible for project resource management and provides performance appraisal input to functional manager for personnel assigned to the program.
•Coordinates all plant activities supporting new product launches including pre-production and production launch.
•Responsible for all equipment/tooling, planning, procurement, installation, acceptance and customer reimbursement.
•Provide central point of communication with Company, provides plant communication with Company program management on schedule/budget performance and issues, encourage direct communication between Company and plant launch team functional representatives on specific issues.
•Responsible for establishing and achieving overall product manufacturing targets.
•Responsible for providing technical direction and functional management of manufacturing engineers and technicians assigned to the new product launch programs.
Skills

•Exceptional team-building and communication skills.
•B.S. Degree in Engineering.
•7 years experience in electronics assembly/manufacturing.
•Previous knowledge of electronic product designs and manufacturing technologies.
Education
B.Sc. In Engineering from a reputable university (Electrical is preferred).
